Welcome to my new blog "What's on JD Easel"

Since it's it November I would like to say

and would like to post other one of my harvest painting.

This painting is of a memory long past in time. I can still hear the children playing out side from sunup to sunset and the kitchen would have all these delicious smells drifting from the windows.
Where neighbors would knock at the back door and sit in the small kitchen and drink coffee, laugh, cry and gossip.

After I painted this country painting I place it in my collection of art work to use for art shows.  But now I have appreciated it long enough and I am placing it up for sale.

This painting is a 11" x 14" Acrylic painting on Masonite Board.

I am also working on Christmas Ornaments this month.
This little gal is a large goose egg that I have painted on both side and I have also place a Christmas tree charm on top of the egg

This is a large goose egg that I have painted on both side. This is a little Christmas Penguin and I have place a little Christmas tree charm on the top of the egg.

Here is the Texas Star ornament.
I have craved the star out of the egg but leaving just a enough meat to hold the star to the shell. I then place a star and cowboy boot charm at the bottom of the egg to give it a playful look.

I also have been working on glass color swirl Christmas Ornament.
And flat & around plastic color swirl Christmas Ornament too.

And I made this old vintage Ornaments out of old hymns that where falling apart.
If you have any questions about this painting or Christmas Ornament, please e-mail at me:
